Mutual Aid for Our Global Community
Mutual aid is an anti-colonial initiative aimed at harnessing the power of community with voluntary exchange of resources to meet the needs of an individual, group or community. This page is dedicated to providing mutual aid for Palestinian families subject to the violence of the genocidal, colonial entity of Israel.
I have communicated with these families through video to verify that they are real people, living in occupied Palestine and subject to incredible hardship and violence that most of us could never begin to imagine. Through all this, these people are having children, trying to raise families, all while under extreme threat and diminishing or unattainable resources to survive like food and shelter.
Please read about these families, and feel free to reach out to them on social media, specifically to follow their accounts in hopes of boosting their posts so that they are better able to access people able to provide aid. If you are able to DONATE, please do. Remember that every bit of financial support helps, no amount is too small because mutual aid adds up. That's the power of community!

Emad is a father of 3 beautiful children. Their home was destroyed and they have been living in constant fear. One of Emad's children has asthma, and all of them just wish to go to school and be able to sleep without fear of bombings. Recently, as a result of donations, his family was able to purchase chicken for the first time in two years. Emad and his family long to return home, even though all that is left is rubble, and rebuild their lives. Please go to this link and donate to help this lovely man and his family.

Tasneem has 5 children, ages 2-18 years old. They were forced to flee their home and leave all their belongings to live in a tent exposed to the elements, rodents, and unsanitary and unsafe conditions. She lost her sister and her sister's family in the genocide, and many other relatives and friends. One of her children has a heart condition that requires urgent and ongoing medical care that she has not been able to access. This mother lives in constant fear for her families lives. She has expressed that she doesn't find it easy to ask for help, but we all know that mutual aid is exactly that, MUTUAL. One day we may all need help and mutual aid is about providing it to those in need to create a community of support for when we need it as well.

Ahmed and Shahed were married just a couple months before October 7th, and had their first baby, sweet Rafeef, in June of 2024. Their family has been displaced multiple times, and Rafeef has never known a life of safety. As you think about your own upbringing, or your experiences with your own babies, imagine having to raise an infant during a genocide. The ability to provide safety, food and shelter for this small, new human has been all this young family has been trying to do. Your donations help incredibly, and help these new parents survive so that they may provide a good, healthy life for their little girl. Also, how sweet is she?

Alaa is a mother of 5 children, from 3 to 15 years old. Most of us couldn't imagine how difficult it is to raise 5 children, and Alaa is doing it during genocide. Her family lost their home, income and have struggled to have their basic needs met for the past two years. While there is a small amount of aid reaching Gaza now, food and supplies are still very expensive and her family still needs our love and support. This is a picture of her children who should be going to school and playing with friends but instead they live in constant fear. Every donation matters.

Amina is a woman with 4 children now starting from scratch during this precarious time of "ceasefire". Amina was a graphic designer who lost her job and now lives in Gaza with nothing. One of her daughters is sick and needs special care which she struggles to find amid medical aid blockades, and the destruction of hospitals and murder of healthcare workers. All she wants for her family is safety, food, shelter and a life where her children can grow, learn and dream. Please help this family survive so that Amina and her family can dream again one day, in a free Palestine.

Nada was a teacher before her and her families lives were forever changed. Her and her daughter, Mira, have been living in conditions without clean water, sanitation or reliable access to food and shelter. She has had her IG accounts deleted, and has had to rebuild her social media presence multiple times in attempts to get donations to keep her family alive. Nada relies on social media for people to know her story and help her with monetary donations, and could really use our compassion and support. Donate and follow.

Ansam is has 4 children including a set of triplets! As a result of explosions, one of her sons has lost his hearing and one of her daughters has cerebral palsy and frequent seizures. Her and her children were able to make it to Egypt but without their husband and father, who remains in Gaza trying to get out. The cost of leaving is only compounded by the illegal blocked crossings into Egypt. Ansam is struggling to get funds to help her husband to get to Egypt. If you are able to provide help, all donations are welcome.
